I found the placement of the CF2 pieces confusing until I realized that they lay horizontally between the spruce stringers, with the outboard edge glued to the side plank. Make sure you don’t glue down the deck, even if you are just making a display model, you will still need access to the keep to drill the hole for the rudder post.
